As Station Chief on the Lost Coast for Air America and OSI, Rio is in charge of the only convenient way in and out of Buenaventura and is perpetually at the intersection of everything that happens there.

Rio might look to all the world like a grease-monkey, but he's an accomplished pilot, explosives expert and highly trained veteran of numerous overt and covert operations for the CIA, and before that as a Navy SEAL. Because Costa Perdida is a dangerous place, Rio is ideally qualified to handle any perilous situation that might - and does - arise, whether CIA/OSI-related or local.

Although people are drawn to him, he's a classic loner with few close friends. He's easy-going with strangers and genuinely interested in, and respectful of, other people. He also has a well-honed sense of humor, easily seeing the absurd side of things, and on the flip side is not easy to fool. His years in the military have given him a penchant for elaborate pranks and practical jokes - usually at the expense of someone richly deserving of a little deflating.

Rio is a man of honor with deeply held convictions and unerring sense of right and wrong instilled in him by his father - who was also a top-level agent. In any situation he can be counted on to choose the moral high ground. He is utterly competent - Rio is inevitably the right man for the job that needs to be done.

Rio is also haunted by a failed mission with his father, which he took the blame for, and even though the CIA believes his father perished in an explosion, Rio isn't so sure. When an assassination attempt is made on his life after the operation, the CIA decides to 'park' him in Costa Perdida for his own protection. It also places Rio in a position to discover the truth about his father - and whether he's alive or dead.

Whether it's a rescue mission into the interior of the country, intervening when the local politics turn violent, or interacting with narcos or the militia, he has the skills and experience to deal with anything that is thrown his way. And because he is an asset of OSI, he is always the point man for any quasi-official operations that are sent his way by Uncle Sam.

If you're in trouble, Rio Arnett is the man you want to come and save you.

Lorenzo Lamas

To call Lorenzo Lamas and his "Renegade" series a success is an understatement. The syndicated show ran five years with Lamas portraying 'Reno Raines', a Harley-riding fugitive who travels doing good for those who were done wrong. "Renegade" proved challenging for Lorenzo, combining a few of his many talents: acting, martial arts and motorcycle riding. Lorenzo served as Executive Producer of the Stephen J. Cannell series and wore the director's cap for several episodes during its last season. 'Air America' promises to be a platform for continued syndication success for this talented actor with an enormous fan base.

While "Renegade" remains an international hit, audiences world-wide still remember and recognize Lorenzo from when he first came into stardom as 'Lance Cumson' on the long-running CBS series, 'Falcon Crest'. "Renegade" was a dream of Lamas' that became a reality, but his dreams have not stopped and neither has his luck. As well as starring in 'CIA II: Target Alexa' in 1995, Lorenzo made his feature directorial debut with the film. Immediately following the production of the film, Lorenzo began production on yet another feature, 'Smoke on the Water'. Lorenzo recently completed filming 'Mask of Death' opposite Billy Dee Williams and 'Cybertech P.D.' starring Peter Coyote and Chris Sarandon.

During his 1996 "Renegade" hiatus, Lorenzo filmed 'Words of Honor' which co-starred Roy Scheider and Gary Busey, directed by Sidney Fury. Lorenzo co-hosted ABC's "Champions of Magic from Monaco" with her Serene Highness, Princess Stephanie of Monaco, and then returned to "Renegade" for the 1996-1997 season for USA Networks.

Lorenzo, born January 20, 1958, is the son of Fernando Lamas and is a native Californian. He was raised in Pacific Palisades until 1968, at which time his mother, Arlene Dahl, relocated the family to New York.
With encouragement from his father, he enrolled in Tony Barr's Film Actors Workshop and began his career with a small role in the television show 'Switch' in 1976. He also began to study martial arts in 1979, which he continues to study.

Lorenzo's feature credits include 'Grease', 'Take Down', 'Body Rock', and 'Final Impact'. He went on to form a production company and co-produced three movies: 'Weber's 15 Minutes', 'Night of the Warrior', and 'Human Target'.
In his efforts to help those in need, the Lorenzo Lamas Ride For Life annually benefits the World Children's Transplant Fund. The motorcycle ride helps raise money for the Fund, which provides organs to needy children in third world countries. Lorenzo resides in Los Angeles with his wife Shauna Sand and baby daughter.
