Shauna Sand LamasShauna Sand was born on September 2, 1971 in San Diego, California. From the age of five Shauna studied ballet, jazz, and theater. At the age of eleven, Shauna enrolled in The School of Creative and Performing Arts and by the age of thirteen she accepted a dance scholarship with Ballet West. Shauna began modeling at the age of nine when she was approached by a local photographer; but her modeling career exploded when she signed with the Elite/Petite agency in New York at the age of fifteen.
She then went to Paris, France and earned a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Business Administration and perfected her
now fluent French. The multi-talented Shauna has had a non-stop career which
has taken her to France, Tokyo, Mexico and Los Angeles for a variety of stage,
film, television and modeling assignments.
A recurring role on the hit syndicated show "Renegade" introduced Shauna to
the national television audience. Shauna's international popularity rocketed with her
stunning appearances in many International Magazines, calendar appearances and her own poster,
which proved that she could conquer yet another media market. She parlayed this
success with several hosting appearances which include one of Playboy TV's
top rated shows: "Playboy Jazz Festival".
But don't think for a second that
Shauna's ambitions are set strictly on the small screen; she stars in
"The Chosen One" and is co-starring in two motion pictures that will be
released this year titled "Black Dawn" and "Back To Even", as well as
"Air America", airing worldwide.
Shauna's continued success is propelling her
world wide fame. She has been featured in numerous international endorsement deals
and is currently busy pursuing various acting and modeling opportunities.
